Merrill Gruver

Merrill Gruver is an actress, improvisor and educator. She studied acting at Brown University and The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, and is a graduate of the BATS school of improvisation. Merrill began performing with the Un-Scripted Theater Company in 2009 and has been on staff since 2011. She is a founding member of Shakespeare's Stepchild, an improv troupe that improvises in the style of William Shakespeare. Merrill teaches drama at Peninsula School as well as private improv classes and workshops for teens and adults. She specializes in introducing people to improv in a playful, relaxed atmosphere.
