Some New Friends

Lookie lookie! I maded 2 new puppets! A new genre means we need some new kinds of puppets—plus, since we're guy-heavy for this show, we need some new girls to represent. And making some look more on the human side will balance out all of the adorable monsters that we also have.

I hereby introduce you to Rita:

And Nila (Nila means blue in Hindi. At least, according to the online dictionary. I hope it doesn't also mean something horrible. Translation can be tricky. Anyone know?):

Look! Puppet cleavage!

File Under: Creative Uses of Puppets

Apparently Germany’s traffic camera’s must record the plate number and an image of the driver in order to issue a ticket against the offender. Someone with a UK drive car has been having fun with them by placing a puppet in its passenger seat (what would be the driver’s seat in your average German car.) Boing Boing Link

The Un-Scripted Theater Company Has a Blog!

Greetings, Un-Scripted fans!

Welcome to our new fancy Show Blog! It's where to get the real scoop on Un-Scripted shows. The cast, crew, interns, and directors can post all kinds of things about what's going on in rehearsal, the things we're learning, how shows are going, and whatever's on their mind. Pictures, links, pithy quotes, you name it.

We're hoping that it'll be a great way to communicate with YOU, our friends and audience members. Check it out! Ask us questions about improv, let us know what you think about shows, post US links that YOU think we should check out, and all that good stuff. Who knows what will happen?

We're looking forward to it!
As a teaser, here's the show that we're working on NOW. It's The Great Puppet Bollywood Extravaganza! and it opens exactly one month from today: November 28th, the day after Thanksgiving. Puppets! Bollywood! Fun for the whole family! Ooo, and just fyi: tickets are $10 until Halloween.

Cheers! Hope to see you at the theater—and to be hearing from you on our spankin' new blog!
